Bee Friendly Gardening!

We cannot wait for the half-acre bee friendly garden being implemented near the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility at UC Davis. It should be open to the public by October 16, 2009. Yet another great reason to visit the university. For more information visit: The UC Davis department of entomology's website.

We just sampled some honey from this facility! It is made from Star Thistle and so incredibly delicious. I hope they start selling it!
